Alyson Mackenzie-Graham

Alyson is a voracious reader, whose tastes run from Regency romances to gritty murder mysteries to fantasy epics. She incorporates elements of each of these into her stories, gleefully chasing wherever her characters choose to wander. Her eclectic taste in music is also prevalent in her work, often inspiring events, stories or characters. Whether the music is Celtic, Industrial Synthpop, or Flamenco guitar, you can often see her hunched over her desk, rattling the keys with her three-fingered typing skills (what good are the other two anyway?) or spontaneously dancing.

Her taste for the paranormal and fantastic was whetted at the early age of 8 and has only grown over the last two and a half decades. Lycanthropes, vampires, faeries and other things that go bump in the dark have been her constant bedfellows, to the chagrin of her husband, who is tired of their kicking at night.

She wears too much black, 14-hole Docs and dreams in blue.
